Fantasy Baseball Average Draft Position (ADP) Trends

by Howard on January 27, 2012

Is Albert Pujols still everyone's consensus #1 pick?

For those seeking additional fantasy baseball advice and aren’t completely familiar with just how spread out I am, allow me to point you towards a series of articles I am doing on Mock Draft Central right now.

Average Draft Position (ADP) is one of the best tools to use, primarily in snake-style drafts, in order to see exactly how the rest of the fantasy world is viewing particular players.  In these articles, I am looking at ADP trends to see which players are rising in the rankings and which ones are falling.  It’s a great way to see which guys you may have to reach for, which ones are going way to high and which sleepers you might be able to wait on.  Below are links to the first three articles I have done.

Early ADP Risers and Fallers

Top 12 ADP Risers and Fallers for Mixed Leagues

Early ADP Trends for AL and NL-Only Leagues

If you don’t already subscribe to Mock Draft Central (doesn’t cost anything), I suggest you join up and maybe try your hand at a few practice runs before your actual draft.

And to keep tabs on when a new ADP article is up, if you don’t follow me on Twitter, perhaps it’s time to do so — @rotobuzzguy
