I have to disagree with you about the Big Unit. With win #300 behind him, the pressure is off and the Giants are facing some seriously weak lineups. I like him for a 2 start week here.

I hope you're not really putting your trust in Bannister. He blows.

I do like the Beckett call though. The Yankees and Phils should knock him around plenty.

There is one good reason I can put him there. I am writing the article!!!!

But seriously folks... I agree with you that common sense may not agree with this call. Zimmerman, however, does not have enough track record to go by matchups.

There are going to be plenty of fantasy teams that are behind in wins or Ks, dying for two-start pitchers. By making him the start of the week, I am trying to find a lesser starter that GMs may want to put in their lineup which they otherwise may keep on the bench. Should I have made Johan Santana the start of the week? That would have been nice and easy, but not very insightful.

Like I said, I am a gambler. If I had Zimmerman on my roster, I would be sure to start him this week. That is why I did it. Look at it this way... Howard will take over again next week for the pitching report, so you only have to put up with my shenanigans this one time!

Thanks for the comment Chris!
