If Cody Ross is still available in your league, you might want to grab him for some cheap power.
As I go through the free agents available in my various leagues, I’m shocked sometimes to see some of the names that are still out there. And I’m not even talking about just youngsters and recent call ups like Will Venable, Delwyn Young or Colby Rasmus. I’m seeing names out there still like Cody Ross, Felipe Lopez, and Orlando Cabrera; guys that can really contribute. Now I know every league is different and some guys are worth more based on whether it’s a points based league or a 12 team roto league, but the fact that remains is that you should be checking your waiver wire on a daily basis. There are plenty of guys that are likely still available in your league that can help you here in the last month or so.

I like your call of Montero on Addict. I dropped Matt (try again next year) Wieters for him a few weeks ago and have never looked back. I also think that Erick Aybar needs to be owned…But what the hell do I know….
I just dropped Kazmir and picked up Randy Wells. Am I crazy? Thoughts?
Wells has definitely been pitching decently but Kazmir has definitely looked better in 3 of his last 4 starts. I always like to go with proven talent down the stretch, but based on Kazmir’s overall numbers and your league, I’m sure you’ll be able to pick him back up relatively easily.
